One great way of personalizing an invitation is to pick up on an architectural detail from the venue. Upon entering One Hanson Place in Brooklyn you can see beautiful mosaic stars on the ceiling. We spoke to this but kept the reference subtle, simply embossing a raised star design to create a lovely texture. The idea was further realized with a custom sketch of the clock tower for one of the enclosures. As a fun detail, the clock in the tower was shown set to the actual reception start time! Engraved black text and a silver beveled edge set the tone for this formal black tie event.
